In the depths of Warwickshire and on the borders of Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire lies Brailes, a golfing oasis surrounded by spectacular rural scenery and steeped in historic values dating back to the battle of Edgehill in 1642.

Brailes Golf Club, Which opened in 1992, is set in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, 3 miles east of Shipston-on-Stour and 10 miles west of Banbury on the B4035. The golf club can also be approached via the glorious Cotswold countryside, and the visit is made even more worthwhile by the warm and friendly welcome extended to all golfers on arrival.

For Brailes - one of golf's best kept secrets - is one of the few 'newer' clubs to run along the lines of a traditional private members club where visitors are made to feel at home. The challenging 18 hole course has been designed to test and stretch the skills of experienced golfers yet not intimidate newcomers to the game.

The 6,315 yards par 71 course utilizes the natural undulating terrain, mature trees and the Sutton brook which comes into play across 5 holes at strategic points.

Panoramic views of the course and surrounding countryside can also be seen from the well appointed clubhouse which projects an informal and relaxed atmosphere, yet expertly caters for the needs of golfers at all times.
